Is your child riding the school bus for the first time? On August 21 and 22, Regina Public and Regina Catholic Schools have scheduled four opportunities to see and ride school buses and learn about school bus safety.

Trained professionals will be there to assist children and their parents in becoming comfortable with their first ride on a school bus.

This experience is free of charge and you do not have to pre-register.

Simply show up at any of the below options:

  • Tuesday, August 21 at 10:30am    - Sacred Heart School (1325 Argyle Street)
  • Tuesday, August 21 at 6:30pm      -  École Harbour Landing School (4419 James Hill Road)
  • Wednesday, August 22 at 1:00pm  -  Jack MacKenzie School (3838 Buckingham Drive)
  • Wednesday, August 22 at 6:30pm  - École St. Angela Merici (6823 Gillmore Drive)

You can attend any time or location that suits your schedule. You can also attend more than one session if you would like more time to become comfortable.

Each session will last about an hour and a half. Note that while parents are welcome, younger children will not be able to ride along.
