Do you have Children Interested in Learning How to Skate?

The Al Ritchie Community Association is hosting two programs for youth who are new to skating or who have never even tried it before. 

To be able to participate in the programs, children must be 6-13 years old and live in one of the 6 central zone communities
- Al Ritchie
- Cathedral
- Centre Square 
- Eastview
- Heritage
- North Central 

New to Skates  is a free program for children who have never tried skating or been on ice before. This is a great program for children who are new to Canada and are trying skating for the very first time. Participants will learn how to put on skates, wear proper equipment, safely step onto the the ice, etc. 
This program will run on Thursdays, from Nov. 7 - Dec. 19, 2019.

Learn to Skate is a free program for children who have tried skating before but are are interested in improving basic skills. 
This program will run on Thursdays, from Nov. 7 - Dec. 19, 2019.

*There will be skates and helmets available for those who do not have their own. When you register, please indicate if you will need to borrow skates and/or a helmet. It will be mandatory for your child to wear them.
